Maurice O'Reilly - Managing Director and owner of Make$ Cents Accounting.
Maurice likes fish and enjoys a slice of orange cake with lemon icing, and hates leeks. Loves to play golf and get on his push bike for a couple of hours to clear his mind. Also an avid armchair sportsman particularly tennis, golf and rugby.
Has a season ticket for the rugby at the "Cake Tin" but Canterbury Crusaders rule!
Courtney Nielsen - Workflow Manager
Courtney has come from a background of a range of Administrative and Case Management Roles with experience dealing with people from all walks of life. She enjoys a challenge and to keep busy so isn't afraid of what you might throw her way!
Outside of work if winning competitions was a skill then Courtney has mastered this one with some crazy luck on her side. She spends her time with her young family, enjoying the outdoors and trying her hand in the kitchen, nothing at chef level but she still loves to give new recipes a go!
Bernice Bowman - Client Administrator
Bernice is the friendly face of Makes Cents and enjoys welcoming people to the Office. She comes from an education/admin background with lots of life experience and smiles thrown in the mix.
Bernice spends her free time enjoying family time on her rural piece of paradise along with her menagerie of 4 cats, 1 dog, 2 rabbits … and the occasional wild deer that comes for a visit.
Bernice is also a bit of an avid couch critic when it comes to NZ sport and follows most with a passion. She also loves the challenge of doing Wasgij puzzles and likes to tickle the ivories occasionally.
Lyzette van Niekerk- Office Administrator
Lyzette has more than 13 years in admin related roles in various industries.
In October 2019, Lyzette migrated to NZ from South Africa. She loves spending time with her family enjoying the outdoors whether it is taking walks in the parks or relaxing on the beach.
Lyzette also loves spending time in the kitchen especially baking nice treats to enjoy with morning tea.
We are all ably assisted by a team of other support staff both inhouse and specialist providers.
